My mum once told me that the greatest gift I could ever receive lived within the pages of a book. Of course, at the time, I didn't appreciate what she meant and was convinced a Gameboy was a much better gift. As my career as a writer and storyteller has developed, I've come to understand the importance of those words and cling to them on a daily basis. Maybe one day, they'll help me get over not getting that Gameboy.

When I'm not slurping away at another bucket of coffee, yelling at the TV or trodding on LEGO, I am frantically searching for the story in everything I see, making small, hastily prepared notes and hoping I will get to write as many of these stories as possible.

Connect with me

Elastica said it best in their 1995 banger Connection - “I don’t understand how a heart is a spade, but somehow the vital connection is made.”
Okay, I don’t really understand the spade reference, but I’m all in for
vital connections. So if you feel like connecting with me, you can
